Gucci Mane Drops Pooh Shiesty Album Amid Robbery Charges

The relationship between Gucci Mane and Pooh Shiesty has taken another unexpected turn. Months after Pooh Shiesty was accused of being involved in an armed robbery and kidnapping of Gucci Mane in Dallas, the Memphis rapper has released a new album while sitting in federal custody awaiting trial.

Pooh Shiesty, whose real name is Lontrell Williams Jr., released All Eyes on Shiest on August 7th. The 16-track project, which includes two bonus tracks, arrived as Shiesty continues to face federal charges connected to the January 2026 incident involving Gucci Mane and others. The album features appearances from artists including Big30, GloRilla, Sexyy Red and the late producer Tay Keith.

According to federal prosecutors, the alleged incident stemmed from a dispute involving Shiesty's contract with Gucci's 1017 Records. Authorities allege that Shiesty and several others confronted Gucci at a Dallas recording studio, where Gucci was allegedly held at gunpoint and forced to sign paperwork releasing Shiesty from his contractual obligations. Prosecutors also allege that Gucci was robbed of personal belongings, including his wedding ring, watch, earrings and cash.

The situation became even more personal when Gucci responded publicly with his April track “Crash Dummy,” which appeared to address the alleged robbery and his former artist directly. On the song, Gucci referenced the meeting being a setup and questioned why Shiesty would allegedly turn against him while still being signed to his label.

Despite everything surrounding the case, Pooh Shiesty's music continues to reach fans. All Eyes on Shiest now arrives as one of the rapper's first major releases since the legal situation unfolded, giving fans new music while his case remains unresolved.

Shiesty has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and the case is still pending. His trial has been delayed until 2027, meaning the legal battle between the Memphis rapper and the 1017 camp is far from over.
